A Quick Tour of Freely Accessible Educational Resources from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis
Thursday, July 21st 10:00am - 11:30am
The St. Louis Fed is known for FRED and their award-winning educational resources, but what do they have for librarians?
Join us for a tour of their newest data literacy programs, lessons, and resources for librarians.
Scott St. Louis and Adrienne Brennecke will highlight the Fed's digital badging program geared specifically for librarians who want to improve their own data literacy skills, as well as other programs to learn about economics and monetary policy. They will show how you can use FRED Interactive lessons in the classroom to promote information and data literacy. Finally, they'll introduce classroom lessons with primary resources from the FRASER digital library recommended for librarians and other educators.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 20th.
The Summer Workshop is free for SLRLN members and $10 for non-members.
A recording of the event will be available to registered attendees for 30 days after the event. There will be no refunds granted for cancellations.
