About
The St. Louis Regional Library Network (SLRLN) which began in 1977, is a non-profit organization representing all library types and governed by a set of Bylaws. Its mission is to provide opportunities and forums for libraries and librarians to share resources and to learn from each other. To fulfill its mission, SLRLN shall identify the needs and resources of the library community served by the Network, develop and offer cooperative programs deemed appropriate by member libraries and evaluate and assess those needs and programs.
“All are Welcome Here”
SLRLN is committed to fostering inclusivity, learning, and creating authentic experiences for all library communities and individuals. The network celebrates growth and is committed to promoting programs that encourage diversity, equity, access, justice, and inclusion. SLRLN recognizes it is at its best when all members contribute, regardless of race, religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, gender, ability, or age. As SLRLN continues to grow, all members are invited to share ideas on how to make this network stronger through an inclusive approach.
Our 10-member council volunteers their time to make this possible through a number of events, including our annual Tech Expo conference, a Spring Speaker Series, and two additional workshops every year. We also offer a member newsletter, which features member announcements, upcoming events, and organization updates and news. SLRLN encourages partnerships and collaboration between libraries through our Info-Pass Program, and we work with vendors to offer product discounts to our members through our Cooperative Purchasing Program.
